LATHE #2 Enco 110-2034 Seller (the original owner, per the ad) is asking $3000 for the lathe, an Enco mill (Rong-Fu clone), some tooling and vises and a 2-ton shop crane. If I had the $$$ I would get a lathe with more power, a better QCTP, and at least a 1.5" through spindle, 2" if i could find one. However the 8x12 works for me for know. I plan on making a 22 can on it at some point, till then its just making lights and whatever else i need to turn on a lathe.

I've had an old Enco lathe in my shop for years that I had never really used. I knew it had issues when I bought it really cheap and I am finally getting around to checking it over better to hopefully resurrecting it. It's a model 110-0818 and measures out to about 9" X 19"
Sometimes I use a 3/8 or 1/2 insert tool, but more often Just a 3/8 or 1/2 HSS tool, just ground for threading. I feel the HSS tool bits give better finish than the carbide on 41xx and like steels. Also, just blunt the tip a bit (carbide or HSS). Art. 12-22-2013, 09:32 PM #7.

If it is a 12 x 36, 110-2075 model you can get the switch which is shown in their parts list as a Hz5B-10/2D009 from Harborfreight. The same switch is probably also obtainable from Grizzly, or one of the other vendors of this or similar lathes.
